This is reported by Min-Chi Kuo, an analyst at Tianfeng International known for fairly accurate insider information about Apple’s new products.

Ming-Chi Kuo’s prediction is for the next version of the iPhone 13, which should go on sale in the fall of 2021.

According to the analyst, the new smartphones from Apple will use soft battery technology for the first time. It is assumed that this will allow more efficient use of the internal space of the device and, which is also important, reduce the cost of manufacturing smartphones. Such batteries can be supplied by Huatong, Xinxing and Jialianyi.

It is not yet known how true the information is, Apple representatives do not spoil their fans with information about the planned new product. There are also doubts that soft batteries will be able to provide decent smartphone autonomy and a high level of security.

Ming-Chi Kuo previously said that the iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro will have ultra-wide-angle lenses, which will be supplied by Yujingguang and Largan.
