iPhone 13 will get what the Samsung Galaxy S10 had back in 2019: the maximum storage capacity will increase to 1 TB

Wedbush analysts, citing supply chain sources, say the iPhone 13 line of smartphones will offer users the ability to store data on a 1TB flash drive for the first time. That’s double the maximum storage capacity in the iPhone 12 line. Apple iPhone XS was the first smartphone from the company to offer 512GB of non-volatile memory.

These rumors appeared last year, as well as at the beginning of this year, but now they are confirmed by verified insiders. Financial analysts remain optimistic that Apple iPhone sales will remain strong this year.

Apple currently offers 1TB of flash storage on its iPad Pro tablets. At the same time, Apple again lags behind competitors from the Android camp. For example, Samsung started offering 1TB phones back in the Galaxy S10 lineup two years ago.

The main camera of the iPhone 13 is expected to include three 12-megapixel image sensors and a laser rangefinder. It was previously reported that the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max models will support 120Hz refresh rates thanks to Samsung’s new LTPO panels, which can dynamically switch refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz depending on the type of content. This will effectively conserve battery power.

The smartphone should be built on the basis of the Apple A15 single-chip system and run iOS 15. New smartphones will have support for Wi-Fi 6E technology

The presentation is expected in September.

Previously, the Nothing Phone (1) smartphone was tested in the AnTuTu benchmark, where it unexpectedly showed the best result in its class. At the same time, the smartphone endured the drop test worse. It is noteworthy that the screen can withstand drops in the presence of a film, but the back panel suffers much more.

The price of the smartphone is from 469 euros for the basic memory configuration.

Insiders have repeatedly noted that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in terms of design is not much different from the current generation model. They don’t expect a revolution in terms of technical parameters either – the main innovation will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, but the camera sensors, apparently, will remain 12-megapixel. However, it is expected that the battery capacity will increase to 3700 mAh.

Roland Quandt is a well-known informant. Previously, he completely declassified the GoPro 9 Black and GoPro 10 Black action cameras before their announcement, and also named their exact cost.

The frame is narrower but the camera protrudes much more

The official premiere of the iPhone 14 smartphones will take place in September, and a comparison of the current iPhone 13 Pro and the promising iPhone 14 Pro has already been published on the Web. And the comparison is live.

Usually, production of a new generation of iPhone starts in early summer, so theoretically these photos could be a production iPhone 14 Pro, although it is more likely that this is a prototype or even a mock-up. Be that as it may, in terms of dimensions and layout, it should not differ from the retail version.

The photo clearly shows how different the front cameras and screen cutouts are in the current and future models. The screen bezel on the iPhone 14 Pro is also smaller. The main camera block in the iPhone 14 Pro is larger than the similar block in the iPhone 13 Pro, and the lenses protrude more out of the body.

In the new lineup, only the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are expected to receive the Apple A16 SoC. Also, the Pro versions are credited with a 48-megapixel module in a block with an ultra-wide-angle lens and support for 8K video recording.
