An insider known on Twitter under the nickname Ice Univerce has published renders of the promising iPhone 13 (or iPhone 12s – while there are various rumors on the Web regarding the designation of new Apple smartphones). Naturally, these renders are unofficial – apparently, they were made by one of the manufacturers of accessories: in this case, protective glass.

Nevertheless, the images are quite high-quality, and they clearly demonstrate the changes in the front part: reduced bezels brought to the very top of the loudspeaker cutout and a reduced cutout at the top of the screen. The new FaceID system has three elements, the fourth cutout is for the front camera.

One of the main innovations of the iPhone 14 line of smartphones, according to numerous leaks, should be the absence of the usual bang cutout in older models. Instead, they will get the holes in the display that are familiar to the market. And it seems that this will be accompanied at the same time by a tangible improvement in the front camera.

The source reports that Apple has decided to change the supplier of the front camera module. Cameras for new Apple smartphones will be supplied by LG Innotek. Initially, Apple was going to use the company’s products in the iPhone 15 line, but decided to implement it earlier. The manufacturer itself in this case tells us little, but the source notes that the front camera module in new smartphones will be about three times more expensive than those that Apple used previously. Probably, this should have a positive effect on image quality. At least the camera is credited with autofocus.

The Chinese company BOE recently decided to outsmart Apple in order to continue to make money on the supply of screens for the iPhone. Will Apple's dependence on Samsung increase again? The Korean giant may get orders for the production of screens for the iPhone 14 and 14 Max

Samsung, which is already the main screen supplier for the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, may reportedly start making displays for the iPhone 14 and 14 Max as well. That is, she will actually get orders for BOE.

At the moment, Apple has still not given the go-ahead to start producing screens for the new iPhones at the Chinese manufacturer’s facilities, and it is believed that BOE will eventually lose all or most of the orders.

If the situation with BOE is really resolved not in favor of the company, then Apple will simply have no choice but to turn to Samsung, because no one else will be able to produce such a huge number of screens without prior preparation, which, moreover, would suit the demanding Apple in quality .
