iPhone 13 manages to outsell the cheapest Samsung and Xiaomi smartphones in India
iPhone 13 became the best-selling smartphone in India in the fourth quarter. According to Counterpoint data, cited by 91mobiles, the brainchild of Apple has occupied 4% of the Indian market.
Considering that in general, inexpensive smartphones are best sold in India, and Xiaomi and Samsung devices are usually in the lead there, this is a very serious achievement for Apple.
It looks especially impressive if you look at the top five best-selling smartphones. Indeed, in addition to the iPhone 13, there are Samsung Galaxy M13, Xiaomi Redmi A1, Galaxy A04s and Realme C35, that is, the most affordable devices. At the same time, the iPhone 13 in India starts at $850. But Apple’s bestseller was helped by sales. The source says major marketplaces including Flipkart and Croma have been heavily discounting the iPhone 13 for under $600. But even for that kind of money, you can buy all the other four smartphones from the top five.
The Chinese resource ITHome announced when phones of the once flagship Xiaomi Mi 10 line will receive MIUI 14. This will happen in April this year. Moreover, the update will be based on Android 13, not Android 13.
The firmware will be released for Xiaomi Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Mi 10 Lite. It is also noted that recently Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, Xiaomi 11 Lite and Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE received the latest version of MIUI 13.
Xiaomi previously officially confirmed that the devices of the Mi 10 line will receive MIUI 14. But the date or at least the approximate date for the release of the firmware was not indicated. It should be noted that in April MIUI 14 will be released for Xiaomi Mi 10 in China, but in other regions it will obviously appear later.
