IO Interactive released the first Hitman 20 years ago and has since pioneered smart NPC games. Hitman is an interactive game world where the behavior of each NPC is controlled by artificial intelligence. Of course, the newest Agent 47 will boast cutting edge graphics with trendy beams and reflections. However, see for yourself.
The studio has shared a five-minute gameplay trailer that showcases some of the key features of the new graphics.
The video shows the mission in Dubai, where the developers focused on beautiful effects, volumetric clouds and, of course, reflections. This is clearly visible on the mirrored surface of the building and the shiny floor in the hall. In addition to graphical innovations, the updated engine was taught to handle up to 300 NPCs in one location, each of which has unique AI-based behavior.
The video was recorded only in 1080p resolution with 60 frames and, probably, the gameplay is demonstrated on a PC, the system characteristics of which are not disclosed. Previously, the studio shared details about how the game works on new-generation consoles – and 4K 60 fps for all new products was a piece of cake. This means that the game is well optimized and will look comfortable even on average gaming builds with RTX 2060 and even GTX 1070 graphics cards if played without beams.
The game will be released on January 20 and is already available for pre-order.

The design is similar to the Galaxy S23, but the screen is larger than the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Galaxy A14 5G spotted in Google Console database
The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G smartphone has been spotted in the Google Console, thanks to which we now know some of its parameters.
In particular, Google confirms Geekbench data that the device will be based on the new SoC Exynos 1330. Its configuration includes two Cortex-A78 cores, six Cortex-A55 cores and a Mali-G68 MC2 GPU.
In addition, the smartphone will receive up to 6 GB of RAM and a large 6.8-inch screen, possibly with support for 90 Hz.
The new platform will be much more productive than the Exynos 850, which is Samsung’s most basic SoC so far. But the Exynos 850 does not have a 5G modem and is used in very cheap smartphones. For example, in the Galaxy A13. But the Galaxy A13 5G already relies on the Dimensity 700. However, the first tests show that the Exynos 1330 will be faster than this MediaTek solution.
In terms of design, as we already know, the new Samsung will be made in the same style as the new flagship Galaxy S23. At the same time, the display of the state employee will be even larger than that of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, according to all available data.
All Snapdragon Pro Series gamers will now be forced to use Samsung smartphones
Qualcomm has chosen Samsung as an official partner of the Snapdragon Pro series of smartphones.
Among other things, this means that gamers who compete in the Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Challenge and Mobile Masters will only use Snapdragon SoC-based Samsung Galaxy devices from the Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Challenge Finals at DreamHack Valencia. That is, we are talking about one of the largest leagues in mobile eSports.
We are committed to bringing high-performance Snapdragon processor-based Samsung Galaxy devices to billions of gamers around the world to keep the spirit of camaraderie and competition going.
Which Samsung smartphones will be used by gamers is still unclear, but in recent years, the company’s devices have gained not the best fame among gamers, which is due to gaming services and related features.
Intel graphics cards are drastically faster in some older games. Intel has worked on support for DirectX 9
Intel Arc graphics cards, among other things, have rather mediocre performance in older games. But today the company has released a fresh driver that significantly changes the situation, although not in all games.
The company has worked on optimization for some specific games, adding native support for DirectX 9. In particular, it is important to note Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, in which the performance of Arc adapters increased by almost 80%. The company has also worked on the 1% percentile, increasing the rate by up to 2.3 times, which should make the gameplay smoother.
Not all old games have received an impressive performance boost, but Intel can still be commended for continuing to work on its accelerators.
