The once renowned graphics card manufacturer Club3D has unveiled a new generation of USB-C cables that meet the requirements of the USB-IF USB-C 2.1 specification, adopted last May. Their main feature is support for transmitting up to 240 W of power.

As you can see in the picture, there are three models: the simplest CAC-1573 can only be used for power. The CAC-1575 model can already not only transmit 240 watts of power, but also transmit data – the throughput is 20 Gb / s. This is enough to display a 4K resolution image at 60 fps. The top model CAC-1576 has a data throughput of 40 Gbps.

The length of CAC-1573 and CAC-1575 is 2 meters, CAC-1576 is 1 meter. There is no data on the cost – apparently, they are ready to announce it only upon request. I must say that the ability to transmit so much power with new cables is in the future: there are no consumer power supplies with a UCB-C connector that would give out 240 watts yet.

An insider, known on the Weibo social network under the nickname Digital Chat Station, announced details about two promising Xiaomi tablets – Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro. According to the informant, the new items will receive the same screens.

Panel type is not specified. The diagonal will be about 11 inches, the resolution will be 2880 x 1800 pixels, the frame rate will be 120 or 144 Hz (apparently, 144 Hz will be in the top version).

Xiaomi Pad 6 will be built on Snapdragon 870, and Pad 6 Pro will be based on SoC Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. The maximum amount of RAM will be 12 GB, flash memory – 512 GB. Also promised is a fingerprint scanner and 67W charging support.

When the premiere of new products will take place has not yet been reported. It is expected that within the framework of the MWC 2023 exhibition, which starts at the end of the month, Xiaomi will introduce the global Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. Perhaps tablets will debut along with them.

Previously, Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately announce the specifications and release dates of Redmi K50 and Xiaomi 12.
