With the advent of a new energy era, more and more electric vehicles are on the road and new brands are filling the markets. Recently, American new-energy car startup Aptera launched an all-electric three-wheeled vehicle called the Aptera 3.

Details

The spokesman claims that with a 100 kWh battery, the power reserve of the novelty can reach 1000 miles (about 1600 kilometers).

The first electric car, Aptera, appeared back in 2009. Due to the financial collapse in 2011, the company disappeared from the public eye and the new resurrection of this brand was a success.

The car has a unique three-wheeled design with a two-seater layout inside and even looks quite apart from other unusual electric vehicles.

The unique design provides excellent aerodynamics. According to the official statement, this car has a drag coefficient of just 0.13. The model with the lowest drag of a production four-wheeled vehicle has an index of 0.25.

It’s worth noting that the roof of the new car is also equipped with solar charging panels, which can increase battery life by about 64 kilometers on sunny days. If the customer opts for the optional solar panels on the bonnet and tailgate, this will increase battery life by an additional 38.8 km.

With regard to power, the official parameters of the new car have not yet been disclosed, but it is known that the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km / h for the front-wheel drive model is 5.5 seconds, and for the all-wheel drive model – up to 3.5 seconds. What’s more, the flagship model with a 100 kWh battery weighs just 1,000 kg.

Tesla workers cannot return to offices as Elon Musk ordered

In early June, Tesla CEO Elon Musk ordered remote employees to return to their offices, and they obeyed. Only, as it turned out, Tesla itself was not ready for this. At least – her facility in Fremont (California). Workers faced a shortage of tables, parking spaces and even Wi-Fi!

During the pandemic (more precisely, since 2019), the number of Tesla employees has doubled to 99,210 people. And although Musk himself has already recognized hiring as redundant and announced the dismissal of 10% of the staff, the problem of shortage of space in offices will still have to be dealt with somehow.

The lack of parking spaces is what was waiting for Tesla workers outside, but there were simply no empty spaces inside. Tesla has reportedly repurposed some of the space during the pandemic, and of course, this did not take into account the return of the overgrown staff back to the office. It is noted that the shortage of tables was so great that managers still asked some employees to work from home. And those who had enough tables and space complained about a weak Wi-Fi signal.

All in all, Musk’s plan to get employees back in the office was not without flaws.

Judging by the rumors that circulate in the Chinese (and not only) media and relate to the premiere dates of new Huawei products, the company has revised its announcement strategy. Prices for electric vehicles soared amid rising costs of materials

American companies Tesla, Ford, GM, Rivian and Lucid have markedly increased the cost of electric vehicles over the past few months, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Manufacturers said the price increase was due to increased costs for battery materials. In addition, the demand for electric vehicles began to grow sharply against the backdrop of rising gasoline prices.

Last week, for example, General Motors added $6,250 to GMC Hummer electric pickups, which now range in price from $85,000 to $105,000. General Motors announced a rise in prices for materials and logistics.
