Google has unveiled Android 12 Go Edition. As before, this is a version aimed at low-performance smartphones.

The new version of the OS, according to Google promises, will make the corresponding smartphones 30% faster when compared to Android 11 Go Edition. The latter, in turn, provided a 20% increase in the speed of work relative to the previous version.

So, Google promises faster devices, smoother animations, and even a new version will be more energy efficient. As stated on the website, Android 12 Go Edition automatically conserves battery and memory by putting into sleep mode those applications that have not been used for a long period of time, which is especially useful for devices with limited memory. And the updated Files Go application will allow you to recover files within 30 days.

There is also an interesting function of sharing the application via Nearby Share. That is, you can actually transfer the application to another user so that he does not waste traffic downloading it.

Of course, the new system has improved the security and confidentiality of data. Android 12 Go Edition provides more data about applications that access any user information.

The new OS will hit smartphones sometime next year.
