Intel has released the new Intel NUC 13 Extreme Kit (codenamed Raptor Canyon) and Intel NUC 13 Extreme Compute Element mini PCs, the most powerful mini PCs in the lineup.

The NUC 13 Extreme is powered by 13th Gen Intel Core desktop processors and supports the latest 3-slot graphics cards to delight enthusiast gamers and content creators.

The Intel NUC 13 Extreme combines an optimized thermal design with great performance. The redesigned chassis optimizes airflow to reduce noise and throttling during intense gaming and heavy workloads while maintaining the NUC’s signature compact size.

The modular Intel NUC 13 Extreme reaches incredible speeds with a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 desktop processor with eight fast and sixteen power-efficient cores, 32 threads. Its frequency reaches 5.8 GHz in turbo mode.

The Intel NUC 13 Extreme will be available in China first, and will be released to a wider audience in the fourth quarter of 2022. Prices for the Intel NUC 13 Extreme kit will range from $1,179 to $1,549. And the Intel NUC 13 Extreme Compute Element will cost between $760 and $1,100.

Yes, we are talking about a GPU for a laptop, not for a desktop PC (GDDR6 video memory is 6 GB), but since the vast majority of single-block computers running Windows do not have discrete graphics in principle, such an accelerator is not enough. iGame G-ONE Plus can even be called a gaming monoblock.

The ViewFinity S8UT monitor, aimed at users who work professionally with graphics, has appeared in the Samsung range. The device, designated S80PB, features two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt interface.

Usually, one such port is enough for a monitor, as it allows you to transfer an image, and even charge a connected laptop (up to 90 watts). But in this case, the second USB-C with Thunderbolt is installed with a very specific meaning – to connect a second monitor. Well, if there is no second monitor, then the second USB-C can come up with various applications. For example, charge a smartphone with it or connect peripherals.

In addition to two USB-C, ViewFinity S8UT is equipped with three USB 3.0 Type-A, RJ-45 connector for wired network connection, HDMI port. The monitor also received built-in stereo speakers and a convertible stand that allows you to adjust the height and transfer the device from landscape to portrait mode and vice versa.

The ViewFinity S8UT is available in 27″ and 31.5″ panels. Resolution and frame rate in both cases – 3840 x 2160 pixels. Pixel response time is 5ms, maximum contrast ratio is 1000:1. ViewFinity S8UT pricing has not yet been announced.
