Instagram removes restrictions on live streaming

Instagram focuses on improving the quality of live streams. Today, the developers announced several small but important changes. The social network lifts the restrictions of 60 minutes on broadcasts, now you can stream up to four hours. This innovation will be available to all users, provided there are no violations on the platform. You can also watch your live broadcasts in your personal archive, where they will be stored for 30 days. Stream recordings can be downloaded to publish elsewhere. In addition, a “Live” section will appear on IGTV to search for content in this format.
Instagram is clearly investing in live streaming as the format became very popular during the pandemic. The company also hopes the innovations will help keep people on the app longer.
