The AMD Radeon RX 6000 series will not be limited to the Radeon RX 6800, Radeon RX 6800 XT and Radeon RX 6900 XT models, as has been known for a long time. Early next year, the company plans to release video cards with a Navi 22 GPU: the Radeon RX 6700 and RX 6700 XT. Now insider @patrickschur_ has posted on his Twitter the estimated power consumption of these video cards.

According to the source, the Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card will receive a Navi 22 XT chip with a TGP in the range of 186-211 watts. The Navi 22 XTL based model, presumably the Radeon RX 6700, will have a TGP in the range of 146-156W. Moreover, the insider stressed that the NV22 XTL graphics processor can have a TGP and below 146 W, but he has not seen such.

The tweet also states that the graphics card with the Navi 22 XTL graphics core will have 12GB of GDDR6 video memory. We will remind, earlier it was reported that the video cards of the Radeon RX 6700 series use a 192-bit memory bus. The standard model will have 36 compute units, while the “XT” version uses 40 units and 2560 stream processors.

It is also worth recalling the existence of some difference in the power consumption calculations for AMD and NVIDIA video cards, which caused confusion before the launch of the Radeon RX 6800, Radeon RX 6800 XT and Radeon RX 6900 XT models. Then Igor Vallossek (Igor’sLAB) helped to figure it out, about which you can read here.
