Last week, the first high-quality images of AirPods Studio Bluetooth headphones appeared on the network, and now an insider with the nickname L0vetodream talked about one interesting feature of the new product.

What is known

So, according to the source, the AirPods Studio will be equipped with a proprietary Apple U1 chip. It originally debuted on the iPhone 11. It is also found in the new Apple Watch Series 6 and is planned to be added to the AirTag. The chip is based on Ultra WideBand (UWB) technology. It is capable of locating the Apple device. The technology is more energy efficient than GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi

We will remind, AirPods Studio are under the code number B515. The headphones will receive a minimalist design, as well as a metal case with leather inserts. They will be equipped with magnetic ear pads, a USB-C charging port and a function that will automatically detect the right and left earbuds. Also, the novelty will be able to boast of an active noise canceling system with multiple microphones, Transparency Mode and an equalizer. It can be configured using macOS or iOS devices.

Price and when to expect

Presumably, AirPods Studio will debut alongside AirTags and the iPhone 12 lineup in October. Headphones will cost around 350-400 US dollars.
