A new Xiaomi device with part number 22081281AC has been spotted in the Geekbench benchmark. The source associates this number with the forthcoming Redmi Pad 5G tablet computer.
Perhaps the most important news is the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 single-chip system in the device. Exactly the same is used in the top Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro tablet (and it, by the way, also supports 5G). So the Redmi tablet in terms of performance will not differ from the current flagship.
Xiaomi 22081281AC also received 8 GB of RAM and a preinstalled Android 12 OS. Previously, the tablet was credited with an IPS screen with a diagonal of 10.61 inches and a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, as well as a 7800 mAh battery.
It is not yet clear when the premiere of the novelty will take place, but in general Redmi Pad 5G may be presented as early as August or September. According to rumors, the device will be inexpensive.
The budget Redmi Pad tablet was completely declassified five days before the announcement. A detailed video review has been published, specifications have been confirmed
The official premiere of the affordable Redmi Pad tablet is expected on October 4, but a detailed video review of the device has already been published on the Web. It is possible that the video can be removed, so below are the most interesting screenshots.
Redmi Pad is made in a rather thin metal case. The tablet really received four speakers, Dolby Atmos technology is supported. There is no slot for a SIM card (as well as an LTE modem), but you can install a memory card up to 1 TB.
The screen is with a 10.61-inch IPS panel, Full HD + resolution and a frame rate of 90 Hz (you can choose one of two modes in the settings – 60 or 90 Hz). The hardware platform, as previously reported, is MediaTek Helio G99. The version seen in the video has 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory. The battery capacity was 8000 mAh, 18 W charging is supported, but the bundled charger outputs 22.5 W.
The software platform is MIUI 13.1 based on Android 12. RAM expansion technology is supported – it can be “upgraded” by 2 GB. The cameras in the tablet are simple, the resolution of both the front and the main one is 8 megapixels.
It is expected that in Europe the cost of Redmi Pad will not exceed 250 euros.
Some Apple Watch Ultra owners complain about the “jelly screen” like the iPad mini
Some Apple Watch Ultra owners have begun to complain about the “jelly screen” that other Apple watches don’t have.
At least a few of these users have already been found on the Reddit forums, but it is not yet clear how massive the problem is and whether it exists at all, or whether it only seems to watch owners.
The latest iPad mini has this issue, and Apple acknowledges the fact but denies it’s a problem. The company explains that this is a feature of the LCD screen, which updates line by line. However, the Watch Ultra has an AMOLED screen, and it is still difficult to say what could be the reason for this behavior.
It remains to be seen that there are more watch owners who see the same effect. In this case, perhaps Apple itself will comment on the situation.
