Ice broke: Intel received a license to cooperate with Huawei, Qualcomm is next

It looks like u Huawei came to light in end of the tunnel: the government has allowed Intel to resume cooperation with by a Chinese company.

What does it mean

Recall that US sanctions prohibit American companies, and also to foreign manufacturers who use work with American technology, cooperation with Huawei. The only way out obtaining a special license from government of America, which permits cooperation. But until the US authorities generous to issuance of these documents.

But sources claim Intel has received a license and will be able to resume shipments of Huawei. Details are not yet known, but, most likely, we are talking about Intel processors for Huawei laptops.

Also, representatives of Huawei confirmed that the well-known chipmaker Qualcomm, which has been negotiating with the government. If the company is approved will be able to supply Huawei with mobile processors in place of proprietary Kirin chips, which TSMC no longer produces due to US sanctions.
