HyperX today announced the launch of the new HyperX Cloud II Wireless gaming headset, which inherits design and key features from the wired Cloud II model (currently sold over 4 million units), while adding a number of new features.
The Cloud II Wireless is designed for immersive gaming with customizable 7.1 virtual surround sound (output as 2ch stereo for use with stereo headphones). The headset uses large 53mm drivers specially tuned to deliver powerful gaming sound. The model operates at 2.4 GHz, provides up to 30 hours of battery life, and the range of wireless communication reaches 20 meters.
The headset uses a durable aluminum frame with an adjustable headband, flexible leatherette and plush memory foam. For added convenience, this wireless headset offers controls for volume control, mute, activate microphone monitoring, and virtual 7.1 surround sound.
HyperX Cloud II Wireless includes a detachable noise-canceling microphone that reduces background noise and explosive effects for enhanced in-game chat and video conferencing. Flexible design allows users to easily position the microphone as they wish. The headset also features an LED mute indicator and a built-in microphone for monitoring.
The Cloud II Wireless Gaming Headset is compatible with PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, and is TeamSpeak and Discord Certified. The headset works with HyperX NGENUITY software and includes an optional pop filter from a foam microphone.
The HyperX Cloud II Wireless Gaming Headset will be available in the U.S. for a suggested retail price of $ 149.99 from the HyperX Online Store starting November 20, 2020.
