The Cupertino-based company is developing a 16-inch iPad that it plans to release in the fourth quarter of 2023, according to The Information, citing exclusive insider information from a person close to Apple. It will be the largest iPad model, surpassing the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

“The 16-inch iPad is likely to be aimed at creative professionals such as artists and designers who prefer a larger screen,” writes The Information. No further details have been provided about the alleged device, which will have the same screen size as the 16-inch MacBook Pro.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said last year that Apple is exploring the idea of larger iPads that could further “blur the lines” between tablet and laptop.

Earlier this year, analyst Ross Young said that Apple is developing a larger 14-inch iPad Pro with a MiniLED screen. With both of these rumors in mind, we can assume that Apple plans to release both 14- and 16-inch iPad Pro models next year.

Technologies do not stand still, this is also true for generative neural networks that create images based on text queries. And so the popular Stable Diffusion neural network appeared on mobile devices – so far only on Apple solutions.

The free neural network Stable Diffusion has appeared on the iPhone and iPad. But it won't work everywhere.

The novelty is called Draw Things, and it is completely free. There are no ads or built-in advanced features. It doesn’t require an internet connection to work, although you’ll need to download a few gigabytes of additional data the first time you run it.

After launch, you can write a request in English, and the system will generate the required image. At the same time, the system has several limitations that relate to the purely technical parameters of mobile devices. So, on smartphones and tablets with 2-3 GB of RAM, program crashes are possible.
