At the end of July, Huawei officially launched its first 86-inch smart TV called the Huawei Smart Screen S86 Pro, which went on sale today for $1,925.

Huawei Smart Screen S86 Pro received an anti-glare screen coating for comfortable viewing, as well as a proprietary processor responsible for displaying the smoothest, brightest and most colorful image.

MEMC technology is supported, which greatly improves the smoothness of the image on the screen by adding additional frames. Brilliant Display Technology Master Edition improves screen color reproduction. The 4K resolution screen at 120 Hz provides full coverage of 92% of the DCI-P3 color space and occupies 98% of the body area, and the metal frame has a width of 2.7 mm.

In terms of sound, the Huawei S86 Pro is equipped with two tweeters and four 10W full-range speakers. There is also a large sound resonator with a volume of 1.6 liters. In addition, the TV can be wirelessly connected to 4 Huawei Sound X smart speakers to create a 5.1 effect.

Thanks to the capabilities of HarmonyOS 3.0, you can connect your smartphone or laptop to your TV and watch content on the big screen. In addition, a smartphone can replace the remote control. Split screen mode is also supported.

The 12MP AI detachable ultra-wide camera supports user recognition, distance and posture reminders, and video calls.

The company’s much more affordable TVs have also been released today.

SpaceX Falcon Heavy rockets approved to launch top secret US satellites

The US Space Force has approved the use of SpaceX Falcon Heavy rockets equipped with reusable boosters to launch top-secret reconnaissance satellites. This was reported by Bloomberg.

SpaceX Falcon Heavy rockets approved to launch top-secret US satellites

In general, SpaceX has previously launched American spy satellites into orbit using the Falcon 9 rocket, but its capabilities are not enough to launch heavy satellites into orbit. Approval was received in June, but it became known about it only now. The first launch of the Falcon Heavy is expected between October and December – SpaceX will deliver a National Reconnaissance Agency satellite into orbit.

As noted, the use of Falcon Heavy not only brings SpaceX closer to the state customer (Bloomberg focuses on strengthening relations between Elon Musk and the Pentagon), but also saves federal budget funds through the use of reusable boosters. The US Space Force has already calculated that the use of reusable Falcon 9 rockets has saved more than $64 million on GPS satellite launch missions.

There are not as many details about the project as we would like, but it is reported that the car will receive motor-wheels and a fully controlled chassis (4WS) – both the front and rear wheels will turn. The cross-country ability will be no worse than that of some Cybertruck, high power and very good dynamics are also promised. It is expected that the car will receive the Huawei platform, on the basis of which the functions of the autonomous driving system will work (two lidars are attributed at once).
