Huawei plans to launch Mate 40E smartphone based on Kirin 990E chipset

The portal Gizmochina writes that Huawei is preparing to release the most inexpensive smartphone of the flagship Mate 40 line called Mate 40E. The gadget has been spotted in the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) database with model number OCE-AN00.

Earlier, a device with the same code designation was lit at the TENAA regulator. It states that Huawei Mate 40E will receive an 8-core SoC with a frequency of 2.86 GHz. It is likely that we are talking about the Kirin 990E 5G. The amount of RAM will be 6, 8 or 12 GB. The smartphone will be available with 128, 256 or 512 GB storage. The device will be equipped with a 6.5-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2376 by 1080 pixels. The main camera here is triple – with sensors of 50, 16 and 8 megapixels. The selfie camera is 13 megapixel. The battery capacity is 4100 mAh.

Unfortunately, the timing of the release of the device is not named. Recall that at the moment the Huawei Mate 40 lineup consists of four models – Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro + and Mate 40 RS Porsche Edition.
