According to a Chinese source, one of Huawei employees revealed the dates of two official events scheduled for April. The first will take place on April 22, the second on April 27. It is assumed that on April 22, Huawei will present the final version of the HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system, and five days later the Huawei P50 line of flagships will debut. Moreover, according to rumors, the P50 will not be the first smartphone on HarmonyOS 2.0.

The date of the announcement is in line with rumors that the start of sales of the P50 has been postponed until May. Indeed, usually after the official premiere, a short period of time – about a week – is given for pre-orders. In this case, the P50 series smartphones will go on sale in the first or second week of May.

Simultaneously with this news came another: in the Weibo social network profile of the vice president of the mobile division of Huawei Bruce Lee, the designation of the smartphone was changed. Previously, the model with which he posted messages was clearly identified as Huawei Mate X2, now the device is designated as Huawei Mobile. Social network users have no doubt that the top manager already has at his disposal and uses the P50 with might and main.
