Huawei has unveiled its flagship 11-inch MatePad Pro 11 tablet. It is touted as the thinnest and lightest 11-inch tablet in the world. Its thickness is 5.9 mm, and its weight is 449 g.

The Huawei MatePad Pro 11-inch features a 2560 x 1600 pixel OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 274ppi, and 120Hz. This 10-bit panel has perfect color calibration (deltaE < 1). It is the first tablet to receive the new Full Care Display 3.0 certification from TUV Rheinland.

The manufacturer will release two models: Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 870. The tablet uses a graphene cooling system and a vapor chamber. The tablet has 8 or 12 GB of RAM, as well as 128, 256 or 512 GB of flash memory. There is a 4G modem, Wi-Fi 6 (ax) and Bluetooth 5.2 modules with AAC and LDAC for sound. The USB-C port provides 3.1 Gen 1 speed.

The tablet runs HarmonyOS 3.0 out of the box, which has a few improvements. One of them is called “Card Folder”, which allows you to place groups of widgets on top of each other, which helps to avoid clutter on your desktop (switching between groups takes just a couple of clicks). Huawei has also redesigned the multitasking interface to make it easier to use. You can have two apps side by side and two floating app bubbles.

The MatePad Pro 11 promises cinematic sound with six speakers. He also received four microphones. The tablet is powered by an 8300 mAh battery, which is enough for 11.5 hours of local video playback. The Snapdragon 888 model supports 66W SuperCharge fast charging but comes with a 40W charger. The Snapdragon 870 version supports 40W charging and comes with a 22.5W adapter.

On the rear panel there is a dual camera with a main module with a resolution of 13 MP (f / 1.8 aperture, autofocus) and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle module (f / 2.2, fixed focus). The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels. The back has a matte finish, making it more wear-resistant and anti-fingerprint.

In addition, the updated Huawei M-Pencil and the new magnetic smart keyboard with 1.5mm key travel are introduced. Body footrest adjustable from 120° to 165°. The case has a holder for M-Pen, the keyboard comes unfastened. The keyboard case has a built-in antenna that turns the accessory into a “Wi-Fi amplifier”. This, according to the manufacturer, improves signal reception.

Huawei MatePad Pro 11 will soon be available worldwide. The base model with 8/128 GB of memory will cost 480 euros. A version with 12/512 GB of memory, as well as with an M-Pencil and a keyboard, will be offered for 1140 euros.
