Huawei is rapidly ditching Android. Over 30 Million Devices Moved to HarmonyOS 2.0

Huawei continues to get rid of Android at an accelerated pace – more and more smartphones of the company are transferred to the proprietary HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system. As of July 8th, there are over 30 million devices running HarmonyOS. Huawei’s plan by the end of the year is 300 million devices with HarmonyOS, of which about 200 million are from Huawei itself. And everything goes to the fact that this plan will be fulfilled, because in the middle of July HarmonyOS 2.0 will be released for 14 more Huawei and Honor smartphones.

So far, we are only talking about the internal beta version, but such firmware options are taken into account by official statistics. In mid-July, HarmonyOS 2.0 will receive: Huawei P20, Huawei Mate 10, Huawei P20 Pro, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Huawei nova 5i, Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design, Huawei nova 4, Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design, Huawei nova 4e, Honor X10, Honor 30S, Honor X10Max, Honor 30 Youth Edition and Honor Play4.
