Huawei FreeBuds 5 earbuds now available in Europe
Huawei has launched sales of FreeBuds 5 headphones outside of China, made in an unusual design. The shape of the FreeBuds 5 is inspired by the so-called Prince Rupert’s drops (or Batavian tears) – hardened drops of high-strength tempered glass.
Huawei FreeBuds 5 is offered to European users for 159 euros in three colors – silver, pink and white. There are special offers for the first buyers. For example, until April 27, users in Germany can take advantage of the 10% discount code AFB510 and get up to 50% off a single earbud replacement.
Key features include active noise cancellation with three microphones, LDAC support, audio rates up to 990 kbps, and battery life of up to 5 hours on a full charge and up to 30 hours with a charging case.

Exynos platforms will appear in a new type of device. Samsung to create SoC for mixed reality headsets
Samsung is going after Apple to release its mixed reality headset. The device will be released either at the end of this year or early next. There are no details about it yet, but it is reported that Samsung is also going to release its own Exynos single-chip systems for headsets.
Considering that these are only plans for now, the upcoming Samsung headset will apparently either rely on some foreign platforms or on existing Exynos SoCs.
However, new platforms for mixed reality headsets may not be entirely new. It is reported that Samsung has not yet decided whether it will develop these SoCs from scratch or simply adapt existing solutions.
The Chinese company Honor today introduced its new fully wireless headphones – Honor Earbuds X5. This is an inexpensive model with basic functionality and a low price.
Honor Earbuds X5 are offered in two color options – coral and white. Chinese users will be able to buy them for $40 starting June 7, 2023.
The headphones are equipped with 13.4 mm drivers, do not have active noise reduction, support touch controls, 27 hours of battery life with a charging case, and are compatible with the Honor AI Space app for smartphone control. In the application, users can adjust the equalizer and other options, as well as find headphones if necessary.

There are already high-quality images of this product on the Web, while the company did not give a date for their launch on sale, or even a name. However, you can recall that earlier on the Web there were rumors about Project Nomad headphones created just for the PlayStation, so this is probably them.
Then it was reported that Project Nomad will receive some kind of innovative technology for wireless data transmission without loss and low latency. At the same time, headphones can also be connected to a smartphone or PC via Bluetooth.
There are no other technical details yet.
