The HP U28 4K HDR is an ergonomic monitor designed for your home or office workspace. The model is equipped with an IPS panel with a diagonal of 28 “and a resolution of 4K UHD (3840 × 2160 pixels). The new product supports a response time of 4 ms (GTG), a refresh rate of 60 Hz, brightness of 400 nits and a contrast ratio of 1000: 1.
The HP U28 4K HDR is the company’s first consumer display for content creators. The panel used in the monitor can display 1.07 billion colors (8-bit + FRC). Claimed 100% sRGB coverage and 93% DCI-P3 color space coverage with factory calibration.
The model has a 3-sided bezel-less design and a stand with a rectangular platform for increased stability. The HP U28 4K HDR chassis is built from recycled plastic to align with the company’s new direction. The details of the position adjustment have not been disclosed, but from the available images it follows that the new product will be able to offer adjustment of height, tilt, swivel, as well as a function of turning by 90 °. There is a VESA mount 100 × 100 mm.

Flicker suppression, blue filtering, anti-reflective coating technologies are responsible for the convenience of work. Supports HP Eye Ease to suppress blue without adding orange light to ensure color fidelity. The announcement does not mention the use of screen refresh rate synchronization technologies, but judging by the HP U27 model, AMD FreeSync will be present here.
