HP 11-inch tablet with PTZ camera goes on sale

HP announced its 11-inch tablet back in September 2021 and it’s now on sale for $499 in the US.

HP’s new 11-inch tablet features an Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal flash storage. It can be purchased with or without a physical keyboard. The tablet is equipped with a 13-megapixel camera that can be rotated 180 degrees for use as a webcam.

The screen occupies 84.6% of the body area, sRGB color space coverage is 100%, and the display supports an active stylus. The Intel Pentium Silver N6000 is a 6W TDP Jasper Lake processor with four cores, 3.3GHz clock speed and Jasper Lake 32 EU Intel UHD graphics.

The tablet runs Windows 11 Home operating system and has a USB-C port for charging and connecting other devices. It also has a fingerprint reader embedded under the power button.

The keyboard kit is priced at $599. It is available in a single Natural Silver color option.

Apple is testing an E Ink display for future foldable devices. The E Ink color display can be the go-to solution for foldable devices that need a cover or second screen due to its excellent power savings

Kuo says that Apple considers such screens as additional ones. For example, it can be a small secondary screen on a foldable iPhone or a screen on an iPad case.

E Ink screens only consume energy to change the image, so they are great for such tasks. We have already seen smartphones with such screens, so there is nothing new for the market.

When such devices can enter the market is not yet clear, but Apple may not release the first foldable smartphones until 2025, according to the same analyst.
