How much the iPhone 14 Pro Max will change: the dimensions of all elements of the smartphone were published long before the announcement
Apple’s next-generation iPhone launch is still a few months away, but leaks and reports of future devices continue to circulate, revealing some of the big changes the company has planned for this year’s smartphones.
High-quality images of a three-dimensional model of the new flagship smartphone Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max have appeared on the Web. The leaked images confirm that the famous bangs will be replaced with two cutouts (round and oval). The source writes that the diameter of the round hole for the front camera is 5.59 mm. There is also evidence that 2.29 mm remains from the notch to the top bezel of the screen.
It has already been reported that the camera bump on future models of the iPhone 14 series is slightly thicker as the company will be using a 48MP main camera sensor instead of the usual 12MP sensor. The rear camera will protrude 4.18 mm above the surface of the rear panel. The diameter of one main camera module is 13.85 mm with a metal ring and 8.05 mm without it.
The height of the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max will be 160.7mm and the width of the device will be 78.53mm including the side buttons. The thickness of the phone, including the camera bump on the back, will be 12.16mm.
The 14 Pro Max is also claimed to have a 1.95mm wide bezel, which is significantly thinner than the 2.42mm bezel found on the 13 Pro Max. This will increase the effective screen area.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max is expected to feature a 6.7-inch display and the Apple 16 Pro SoC.

The maximum frequencies of single-chip systems for smartphones have not changed for many years. But the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC could be very different from anything that came before. According to MyDrivers, Qualcomm’s new platform’s super-core frequency could reach an impressive 3.72 GHz!
For comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is 3.2 GHz, while the version for Galaxy has a frequency increased to 3.36 GHz. That is, there will be an increase of 16% relative to the regular version. And in general, this is a very high value for mobile SoCs based on the Arm architecture.
According to leaks, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will have a configuration of 1 + 5 + 2, that is, there will be only two energy-efficient cores. This should greatly improve performance even without taking into account frequencies, but how voracious such a platform will be is an open question.
The network already has the result of the new SoC in Geekbench, where the platform scores 1930 and 6236 points in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes, respectively, but this is so much that for now it is worth treating this result with caution.
