“House + Truck = Homtruck”. What they say in the first review of Geely’s debut electric truck
The first video review of the futuristic Geely Homtruck electric truck has been published on the YouTube channel China UNCUT.
This truck is a modern version of a mobile home with the ability to transport huge loads. Geely wanted a modern, clean energy truck that was not only fast, autonomous and safe, but also as comfortable as possible.
The car has excellent aerodynamics. Its aerodynamic coefficient is 0.35. For comparison: in the Mercedes-Benz G-class it is 0.51. As a reminder, Homtruck has a full-size washing machine, a small kitchen, a shower cabin, a refrigerator, a bed, a tea table, and a TV. The author of the review emphasizes that the phrase “Home + Truck = Homtruck” perfectly describes the car. According to the official version of Geely, the name of the car is deciphered in this way.
An important feature of Homtruck will be the L4 self-driving system, which allows the car to drive on the road without the need for a driver. Moving in a column, Geely Homtruck will be able to automatically adjust the speed and distance. Also, the car received many driver assistance systems, an all-round visibility system and a smart assistant. The Homtruck trucks will be networked with 500 satellites to assist in the automatic piloting system.
Recall that the first Tesla Semi trucks should go on sale in 2022, and the Geely Homtruck will be delayed until 2024. It can be equipped with a variety of engines, including all-electric and hybrid systems. The electric version of the truck will support fast battery change technology, which will take just a few minutes. The range of the electric version will be 1100 km.
BYD introduced the new Denza N8 crossover, which is an upgraded version of the BYD Tang model.
The announcement turned out to be formal: the manufacturer published the first images, but did not disclose details about the technical component of Denza N8.
According to Chinese Automobiles, Denza N8 will be available with hybrid and pure electric powertrains. In addition, it is known that buyers will be able to choose between the number of seats in the cabin (5, 6 or 7).
The original BYD Tang was released in 2015, a second generation followed in 2018 and is still in production today. In 2019, Denza X was released based on this model, which was created in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz. Denza N8 replaces Denza X.
Prices and other details about the Denza N8 will be made public later.

Wang Kai, CEO of SiEngine Technology, said work on Dragon Eagle No. 1 was carried out for three years. During this time, the system was developed, verified, tested and launched into mass production.
SoC includes all standard components including 8-core CPU, 14-core GPU, LPDDR5-6400 memory controller, 8 TOPS Neural Processor (AI Task Accelerator), ISP, DSP clusters and other typical Components.
It is reported that as early as the middle of the year, many new car models will be released in China that will use the Dragon Eagle No. 1. Among these automakers are Geely and FAW.
