Honda has turned an ordinary family crossover into a real sports car. Announced 800-horsepower Honda CR-V

The CR-V is a very popular Honda crossover around the world, especially in the US. However, in terms of technology, this is a completely ordinary model: here you can choose from either a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 193 hp or a hybrid version with only 207 hp. Even the RAV4 is more fun when it comes to the 306bhp hybrid. But now Honda has announced something radically new – the Honda CR-V Hybrid Racer project with an 800 hp power plant!

While all the details are not disclosed – the official premiere will take place on February 28. But according to the published pictures, it can be seen that the car received an advanced carbon fiber aerodynamic body kit, many air ducts for organizing air flow and cooling components just like the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, a large diffuser at the rear and a steering wheel that is very reminiscent of the steering wheels of Formula 1 cars. It is clear that the clearance here is minimal, there are no rear seats, and a safety cage made of pipes will not allow you to sit freely on the front. In a word, in terms of comfort, such a CR-V definitely loses to the standard version, but the dynamics and handling should be prohibitive.

Designed by the Honda CR-V Hybrid Racer by engineers from the Honda Performance Development and Auto Development Centers and Honda’s North American Automotive Design Department.

Introduced a child car seat that was created by Frank Stephenson Design in collaboration with Babyark, an innovative baby safety technology company. Its design is inspired by the egg.

Babyark smart child car seat unveiled with military-grade technology and multiple sensors

The child seat is constructed with a carbon fiber frame and military-grade energy-absorbing technology that sets it apart from virtually all other child seats on the market. It also includes the SafeCoil steel-based cushioning system that gently slows the seat forward during an accident. An advanced side impact protection system has also been implemented.

Another addition to the safety of the child seat is a set of 14 sensors in the base that constantly monitor a wide range of parameters, such as whether the seat is correctly installed, and can also tell the owner if the child is properly secured. Accelerometers and gyroscopes can also register the force of any collision and notify users when the seat can be reused.

After working in the automotive industry, I always wanted to go beyond the simple design of car shapes. Safety standards and design in the industry have changed significantly, and yet we easily neglect the technology needed to keep children safe. Babyark’s breakthrough business approach and its open design, inspired by the protective forms of nature around us, aims to embrace passengers and provide safety and luxury for users.
