High-quality renderings of OnePlus’ AirPods analogue show unusual design
Steve Hemmerstoffer, known on Twitter as OnLeaks, has published high-quality renders of OnePlus’ first fully wireless headphones. The computer-generated images are reportedly based on real photos of the final prototype, which is undergoing the final stages of testing, so the correlation of the design of the headphones on the renders and on the store shelf should be high.
Headphones look unusual. There is a leg, but it is not cylindrical, as in AirPods, but wide and flattened. The speakers themselves are slightly turned inward, apparently for greater wearing comfort. The charging case is made in the spirit of the headphone stem and resembles a miniature box. Sony has something similar.
There are no characteristics of the headphones, but there is no doubt that they will not be inferior to competitors and, of course, they will receive an active noise cancellation system. Nothing is said about the timing of the announcement, but the premiere could well take place along with the OnePlus 10 Ultra smartphone. It is expected within a couple of months.
Steve Hemmerstoffer is a reliable insider, many of whose leaks were subsequently fully confirmed. In particular, this was the case with Samsung Galaxy S21, Sony Xperia XZ4, Google Pixel 4 XL, Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Sony Xperia 10 III.

Exynos platforms will appear in a new type of device. Samsung to create SoC for mixed reality headsets

Samsung is going after Apple to release its mixed reality headset. The device will be released either at the end of this year or early next. There are no details about it yet, but it is reported that Samsung is also going to release its own Exynos single-chip systems for headsets.
Considering that these are only plans for now, the upcoming Samsung headset will apparently either rely on some foreign platforms or on existing Exynos SoCs.
However, new platforms for mixed reality headsets may not be entirely new. It is reported that Samsung has not yet decided whether it will develop these SoCs from scratch or simply adapt existing solutions.

Sony’s first TWS headphones specifically for PlayStation. The company showed a yet unnamed novelty

The other day, Sony not only introduced the Project Q portable console, but also showed the first fully wireless headphones (True Wireless Stereo; TWS) created specifically for the PlayStation.
There are already high-quality images of this product on the Web, while the company did not give a date for their launch on sale, or even a name. However, you can recall that earlier on the Web there were rumors about Project Nomad headphones created just for the PlayStation, so this is probably them.
Then it was reported that Project Nomad will receive some kind of innovative technology for wireless data transmission without loss and low latency. At the same time, headphones can also be connected to a smartphone or PC via Bluetooth.
There are no other technical details yet.
