Huawei has introduced a new low-cost tablet to the global market.

To be more precise, the price of the Huawei MatePad SE 10.4 model is not yet known, but the characteristics correspond to the initial segment.

In particular, it is based on the SoC Snapdragon 680, and the RAM can be 3 or 4 GB. The tablet received a 10.4-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels.

Flash memory device has 32, 64 or 128 GB, there is a slot for microSD. From the rest, we can note the main camera with a resolution of only 5 megapixels and a battery with a capacity of 5100 mAh with 10-watt charging. The tablet is available with or without an LTE modem. Dimensions are 246.94 x 156.7 x 7.85 mm with a weight of 440 grams. The novelty is running HarmonyOS 3.

Chinese manufacturer Doogee has released its first Doogee T10 tablet computer, which is priced at $120.

Doogee T10 is equipped with a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a brightness of 300 cd/m2. The tablet has a body made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy with a thickness of 7.5 mm and a weight of 430 grams.

It is possible to connect a keyboard case, as shown in the photo.

Doogee T10 is equipped with Unisoc T606 single-chip system, 8GB LPDDR4 RAM, and also supports 5GB of additional virtual memory. There is also 128 GB of flash memory with the ability to install memory cards up to 1 TB.

The device has a 8300mAh battery and supports 18W USB-C charging. The device is equipped with stereo speakers, a 13-megapixel main and 5-megapixel secondary cameras on the back, as well as an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The device supports dual-SIM LTE and dual-band Wi-Fi, is Widevine L1 certified, can play 1080p video from streaming services such as Netflix, and runs Android 12 operating system.

Xiaomi announced that from tomorrow the company will suspend work on beta versions of the MIUI firmware for the Xiaomi Mix Fold, as well as the Pad 5 Pro 5G, Pad 5 Pro and Pad 5 tablets. The release of beta versions for them will resume after these devices will be upgraded to Android 13.

Recall that earlier the company did the same with a large list of smartphones: since October 31, work has been suspended on new versions of MIUI for Xiaomi 11 Ultra, 11 Pro, 11, Redmi K40 Pro, Xiaomi 11 Lite, Mi 10S, Redmi K40, Xiaomi Mix 4, Redmi K40 Game Plus, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Xiaomi Civi, Redmi Note11 Pro, Redmi Note 11 Pro+ and Xiaomi 12X. Work will resume once these phones migrate from Android 12 to Android 13.

Technologies do not stand still, this is also true for generative neural networks that create images based on text queries. And so the popular Stable Diffusion neural network appeared on mobile devices – so far only on Apple solutions.

The free neural network Stable Diffusion has appeared on the iPhone and iPad.  But it won't work everywhere.

The novelty is called Draw Things, and it is completely free. There are no ads or built-in advanced features. It doesn’t require an internet connection to work, although you’ll need to download a few gigabytes of additional data the first time you run it.

After launch, you can write a request in English, and the system will generate the required image. At the same time, the system has several limitations that relate to the purely technical parameters of mobile devices. So, on smartphones and tablets with 2-3 GB of RAM, program crashes are possible.

According to the developer, the system works fine on iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, 12, 12 Mini, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, SE 3rd Gen, 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max, 14, 14 Plus , 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max and any iPad with 4 GB of RAM.

Also note that images with a size of 512×512 pixels and more will be created for a long time – at least 2 minutes, or even longer. It will be faster only on the top-end iPad Pro with 16 GB of RAM.
