Huawei has officially announced that HarmonyOS 2.0 will be available to users as an over-the-air update in early June – and many are already looking forward to the landmark replacement for Android. But while there is still a whole month before its release, you can entertain yourself by watching an educational video: it compares the launch speed of applications in HarmonyOS 2.0 and in Android with EMUI 11.
In this video, on the right – Huawei Mate X2 running HarmonyOS 2.0 Developer Beta 3 (the third beta is the last pre-final version of the OS), and on the left Huawei Mate 40 Pro with the classic still bundle in the form of Android and EMUI 11. The user alternately launches applications and, in general, there are no special differences in the speed of their work. Only the model in HarmonyOS once noticeably faltered, but at that time an advertisement was displayed on the screen, which for some reason was not in the case of the Mate 40 Pro. So you shouldn’t be afraid of switching to HarmonyOS 2.0 – the performance should remain the same. But the autonomy of smartphones may even grow a little.
