Gucci case for AirPods Max presented: it turned out to be twice as expensive as headphones
Back in 2020, Apple launched the AirPods Max wireless earbuds, and now Gucci has unveiled the AirPods Max case, which is on sale for $980.
The Gucci AirPods Max case is part of the Ophidia range of bags that debuted back in 2018. It is made from 100% recyclable cotton material. The Ophidia case features a golden GG logo and an adjustable shoulder strap.
Lifestyle objects look at everyday life through a Gucci lens. This AirPods Max case blends vintage and modern with archive-inspired design elements. Playing on the contrast between past and present, “Hodiernum” is printed on the inside of the accessory, a Latin word meaning “belonging to the present.” The adjustable shoulder strap adds a versatile touch with multiple ways to wear.

It’s worth noting that the Gucci Ophidia AirPods Max case costs almost twice as much as the earbuds themselves, which retail for around $549.

Exynos platforms will appear in a new type of device. Samsung to create SoC for mixed reality headsets
Samsung is going after Apple to release its mixed reality headset. The device will be released either at the end of this year or early next. There are no details about it yet, but it is reported that Samsung is also going to release its own Exynos single-chip systems for headsets.
Considering that these are only plans for now, the upcoming Samsung headset will apparently either rely on some foreign platforms or on existing Exynos SoCs.
However, new platforms for mixed reality headsets may not be entirely new. It is reported that Samsung has not yet decided whether it will develop these SoCs from scratch or simply adapt existing solutions.
The Chinese company Honor today introduced its new fully wireless headphones – Honor Earbuds X5. This is an inexpensive model with basic functionality and a low price.
Honor Earbuds X5 are offered in two color options – coral and white. Chinese users will be able to buy them for $40 starting June 7, 2023.
The headphones are equipped with 13.4 mm drivers, do not have active noise reduction, support touch controls, 27 hours of battery life with a charging case, and are compatible with the Honor AI Space app for smartphone control. In the application, users can adjust the equalizer and other options, as well as find headphones if necessary.
