Will the new Intel processors really become much more

Intel Raptor Lake processors will be unveiled in a few hours, but now we have the opportunity to look at prices that may be in line with the recommended ones.

Will the new Intel processors really become much more expensive? Prices for new items lit up a few hours before the announcement

The fact is that the new items were lit up in the NewEgg store, and marked as recently released. Given the size and status of this network, it is possible that the prices listed there now correspond to those that Intel itself will reveal in a few hours.

And if so, then the same price increase that the company warned about earlier will take place.

  • Core i9-13900K – $660 ($70 more than its predecessor)
  • Core i9-13900KF – $630 ($65 more than its predecessor)
  • Core i7-13700K – $450 ($40 more than its predecessor)
  • Core i7-13700KF – $430 ($45 more than its predecessor)
  • Core i5-13600K – $330 ($40 more than its predecessor)
  • Core i5-13600KF – $310 ($45 more than its predecessor)

Thus, we will get a rise in price by 10-15%. If we talk about competition with AMD, then the Ryzen 5 7600X at a price of $300 is 10% cheaper than the Core i5-13600K, the Ryzen 7 7700X at a price of $400 is more than 10% cheaper than the Core i7-13700K, and the Core i9-13900K at a price of $630 is significantly more expensive than the 12-core Ryzen 9 7900X, but significantly cheaper than the top-end Ryzen 9 7950X. We wrote about the performance of new AMD products yesterday.

The Radeon RX 6800 XT can be made as fast

The GeForce RTX 40 graphics cards are already presented and will soon begin to hit the market, and the Radeon RX 7000 will also be released towards the end of the year. But is it worth buying new ones if you can get by with the RX 6000 line, significantly speeding it up?

The Radeon RX 6800 XT can be made as fast as the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. RMP application introduced

Renowned developer and enthusiast Yuri Bubliy (1usmus) created the Radeon Monster Profile (RMP) application, which allows you to significantly increase the performance of current generation AMD adapters. From the name it is clear that in fact we are talking about overclocking profiles, but not everything is so simple. The author describes his brainchild as a combination of unique settings and voltage parameters. Thanks to RMP, the performance of RX 6000 cards can be significantly improved.

As you can see, for example, Yuri took the RX 6800 XT, the core frequency of which, thanks to the settings, increased by 300 MHz, which provides an increase of 11-13% and allows this card to bypass the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti at least in 3DMark, which even now is almost twice as expensive. At the same time, the profiles are designed in such a way that the operating voltage is reduced by 6%, which allows you not to worry about excessive heating.

The application is expected later this year.

Thanks Ethereum Video cards have fallen in price

After the release of the update for Ethereum, the demand for powerful video cards fell sharply. According to game-news24, if until recently video cards of the GeForce RTX 30 family could be sold two to three times more than the recommended price, now prices have dropped sharply, in some cases even below the recommended ones.

Thanks Ethereum. Video cards have fallen in price

The GeForce RTX 3080, which recently sold for $1,140, is now around $700, but it’s not so easy to find those willing to buy graphics cards now. Previously, miners came to stores with a lot of money and took away all available video cards, but now neither new computers nor video cards are bought.

Miners who decide to sell video cards bought for a year or more are forced to lose money. Sellers expect even more video cards from miners to appear on the market in the near future. Perhaps this will lead to an even greater drop in prices.

A new generation of graphics cards is expected to be released in the coming weeks, boosting demand for older cards. The GeForce RTX 40 will be available on October 12th. The Radeon RX 7000 will go on sale in early November.
