A proprietary YouTube video service client from Google was found in the private directory of the Microsoft Store. The application is under development.

The beta version of the program, number 1.2.97.0, was only available for Xbox consoles, but for a while it was installed on Windows 10 as a Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app. This functionality is now disabled.

According to the media, the implementation of the YouTube application in the UWP format will allow you to use the Windows 10 API, including the Share UI, Media Player API, and others. Also, Google will be able to implement the broadcast video with HDR support.

It is not known if Google plans to release the final version of the YouTube application for desktop computers and at what time.
