Google Pixel Tablet will support third-party styluses
Google is about to return to the tablet market. She recently showed off the Pixel Tablet without revealing much about it. Prior to this, the company said that it believes in tablets and is ready to develop this direction.
As it has now become known, the Pixel Tablet will support the Universal Stylus Initiative (USI) standard, which will allow it to be used with various styluses, and not just the one that the company is likely to release itself.
Google joined the USI group in 2018, but the company hasn’t released tablets for a long time, so it couldn’t particularly implement support for the standard anywhere. Although styluses are supported by some Chromebooks.
The new version of the USI 2.0 standard supports wireless charging of the stylus, so you can expect this technology in the Pixel Tablet as well.
Recall that the Google tablet will be released only next year.
