Global versions of smartphones Vivo X60 will receive Pixel Shift technology, like a DSLR
Vivo X60 smartphones have been on sale in China for some time now, and will soon be announced globally. And today it became known that the international versions may differ significantly from the Chinese ones.
First, the younger models should get the SoC Snapdragon 870 instead of the Exynos 1080. The exception will be the X60 Pro +, which will remain on the Snapdragon 888.
But something else is more interesting. The source claims that all three smartphones will receive Pixel Shift technology. The essence of the technology is a microscopic shift of the image sensor by one pixel in order to obtain information about all colors for each pixel. This technology is commonly found in large SLR cameras.
At the same time, usually four images are sufficient for its implementation – one with a shift in each direction. Vivo smartphones will allegedly take eight photos, and the software will then create one of them. In the upcoming devices, the technology will be implemented through a special suspension for the sensor.
Interestingly, allegedly all three models of the line in the global market will receive this technology for their main camera.

Xiaomi will launch a very affordable smartphone under the Redmi brand. The novelty will be called Redmi A1, and it has already appeared in the databases of various regulators and industry groups (IMEI, FCC, TUV Rheinland), as well as in the Geekbench 5 database.
