Gionee launches new M12 smartphone: 5100 mAh battery, 6.55-inch IPS display and quad camera with 48 megapixel sensor



The Gionee M12 smartphone was presented the other day. It is noteworthy that the model will enter the market in two modifications, which differ in different single-chip systems. One variant is built on the MediaTek Helio A25 mobile chipset and comes with a 4GB / 64GB memory set. The second edition is based on the MediaTek Helio P22 processor, the memory arsenal contains 6 GB of RAM and a built-in 128 GB flash drive.

In both cases, the smartphone has a 20: 9 IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The diagonal screen size is 6.55 inches. There is a hole in the upper left corner for the selfie camera, which is equipped with a 16 MP image sensor.


On the back side of the body there is a rectangular platform on which the quad camera is located, consisting of the following 48 MP Samsung GD1 sensor, 5 MP wide-angle (viewing angle 115 degrees) and two auxiliary sensors with 2 MP resolution. Also on the rear panel is a fingerprint scanner.


The body is available in black and green. A very capacious 5100 mAh battery with a standard 10-watt charging is responsible for powering the gadget.


The model on the Helio A25 chipset is priced at $ 196. The Helio P22 processor variant is offered for $ 223.
