Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Xtreme Rocket Lake-S Motherboard Details Revealed

Next week Gigabyte is going to release 500 series motherboards. Among them will be the Z590 Aorus Xtreme model, which has been published in some detail by the source.

The board has a 21-phase (20 + 1) power subsystem with a digital controller. For comparison: the Z490 Aorus Xtreme board has a 17-phase (16 + 1) power subsystem. Other features of the novelty include 10 GbE and 2.5 GbE ports, Thunderbolt 4 and a 6E WiFi adapter operating in the 6 GHz band.

The motherboard has three PCIe x16 slots, two of which are Gen4 compatible. In addition, there are three M.2 slots available, two of which also support PCIe Gen4. Let’s clarify that PCIe Gen4 support is determined by the capabilities of Rocket Lake-S.

The Z590 Aorus Xtreme equipment includes the Realtek ALC4080 audio codec. It hasn’t been announced yet, so the Z590 Aorus Xtreme will be among the first motherboards to feature the codec to replace the ALC1220.

Considering the Z490 Aorus Xtreme model costs about $ 600, it’s safe to assume that the Z590 Aorus Xtreme will not come cheap either.
