Ghost of Tsushima Voted Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2020

Voting among gamers on the website of The Game Awards 2020 has ended. In the nomination “Voice of Gamers”, the prize went to the action adventure The Ghost of Tsushima. It was her players who named the best game of the outgoing year.

At the first stage, 30 games competed for the prize, at the second there were only 10, and at the third – only 5.

The following projects managed to reach the final:

• DOOM Eternal;
• The Last of Us Part II;
• Ghost of Tsushima;
• Hades;
• Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Notably, three of the five games are PlayStation exclusives.

For the main prize, there was a fierce battle between The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima. As a result, the latter won, 47% of users gave their votes for it. The Last of Us Part II has only 32% and the second position. Hades closes the top three with 11%. DOOM Eternal ranked fourth (7%). And in fifth – Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (3% of the votes).

The broadcast of The Game Awards 2020 starts on December 11 at 02:30 Moscow time. It is known that more than 10 new games will be announced during the event.
