Ghost of Tsushima Sales Exceed 5 Million Copies

Action-adventure game Ghost of Tsushima (“Ghost of Tsushima”) has sold over 5 million copies. This was announced by the head of PlayStation Worldwide Studios Hermen Hulst on his Twitter.

Ghost of Tsushima has become the fastest-selling original PlayStation 4 game in the history of the console. She even surpassed Horizon Zero Dawn in this parameter.

Mr. Hulst congratulated the developers at Sucker Punch on the record.

Of course, much more successful PS4 exclusives have been released in the past. For example, Marvel’s Spider-Man acquired 3.3 million players in just 3 days. The Last of Us Part II during the same time showed the result of 4 million copies. God of War sold 3.1 million copies in three days. But these are not original games. The first is based on the intellectual property of Marvel, while the second and third are the continuation of the long-standing series.
