GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB will get a different GPU than the 8GB version
According to available data, Nvidia will still release the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB, although it will have to wait until July. Interestingly, new data suggests that such a model will rely on a different GPU than the version with 8 GB of memory.
If the younger card is based on the GA106-350 GPU, then the older one will have the GA106-351. Yes, in general, this is the same graphics processor, and the characteristics of the two versions are identical, but there are still some differences, otherwise the GA106-351 would not have received a different marking.
It is also expected that the TDP of the older version will increase by only 5 watts, then 165 watts. That is, there will be no conditional difference, but this is logical, since the memory consumes quite a bit of energy.
Recall that the adapters should be presented just the other day, but the 8 GB version will be on sale on May 24, but the 16 GB version will be released only in July.

Asus has unveiled what it claims is the fastest GeForce RTX 4090. And at the same time, this is probably the most unusual RTX 4090 in appearance.
The ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 4090 features a liquid cooling system with a 360mm external radiator and three ROG MF-12S ARGB fans. Asus says the CO will be able to keep GPU temperatures below 60 degrees under load.
Another feature is the use of liquid metal as a thermal interface. This is the first RTX 4090 with this solution. Asus also notes that its adapter will have the highest GPU frequencies of any RTX 4090, but does not name the exact figure.
Well, the design is worth noting separately: the video card does not look like any other 3D card on the market, and from some angles it is generally impossible to understand what kind of device it is.
