Some smartwatch manufacturers usually release new items in two sizes, with the smaller size being geared towards women. But not so often the manufacturer produces a model specifically for the female sex. The Garmin Lily smartwatch falls into the latter category.

According to WinFuture.de, the Garmin Lily smartwatch will be presented in two variants: Classic and Sport. The only difference between the watches is the materials. The classic version has a metal case with leather straps, while the sports version has a plastic case with silicone straps. The rest of their characteristics and functions are the same.

The Garmin Lily watch is equipped with a 1.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 240 x 201 pixels, which is protected by Gorilla Glass. There are no buttons on the watch, which means that it is operated exclusively via the touchscreen display. The branded straps are 14 mm wide.

The smartwatch can measure heart rate and also supports blood oxygen (SpO2) detection thanks to the PulseOx sensor. Garmin Lily supports fitness tracking and exercise tracking including yoga, pilates and running.

It says on the underside of the watch that it has GPS, but the source says it should be connected to your phone and the Garmin app to record running routes. The watch will also display the total number of steps and calories burned during the day, and notify you of notifications coming to your phone.

Despite the fact that the Apple Watch Ultra has been on sale for some time, only now the watch has received one of the important applications.

Now Apple Watch Ultra can be used to the fullest. Oceanic+ diving app now available

Apple today announced the launch of Oceanic+. It is this application that actually turns an Apple watch into a diving computer. Since the watch can be submerged to a depth of 40 meters, this is not just marketing.

Interestingly, Apple did not develop the application itself. Even in the press release, the company says that it was created together with Huish Outdoors, which specializes in diving products.

Huish Outdoors specialists note that one of their main tasks was to make the software intuitive and convenient, since diving computers are usually very specific in this matter.

Oceanic+, among other things, allows you, for example, to plan your dive by specifying time, depth and other parameters in advance. The application is able, based on the input data, to calculate the no-decompression time, an indicator used to determine the time limit for a diver at a certain depth. The planner also takes into account diving conditions, including tides, water temperature, and even up-to-date information from the diving community, such as visibility and current strength.
