Gainward has unveiled the GeForce RTX 30 Phantom series graphics cards. The series comprises four models for which a completely new design has been developed. All four cards are overclocked by the manufacturer, have three 8-pin power connectors and identical cooling systems.
The RTX 3090 Phantom ‘GS’ GPU is clocked at 1845 MHz (8.8% higher than recommended). The power consumption is 420 W (20% more than the reference sample). The graphics processor of the RTX 3090 Phantom model is overclocked to 1740 MHz (up 2.7%), and the power consumption of this card is 370 watts (5.7% more than the reference sample).
The RTX 3080 Phantom ‘GS’ GPU reaches 1,830 MHz (7% higher than the recommended), the power consumption of the card is 370 W (15.6% higher than the reference). Finally, the RTX 3080 Phantom’s GPU clocked at up to 1755 MHz (2.6% increase) and 340 watts (6.3% more than the reference).
The RTX 3090 cards are equipped with 24GB GDDR6X memory and NVLink socket for dual GPU configurations. The source does not provide prices.
