Today Apple officially unveiled the latest MacBook Pro, the new products are built on the new and very powerful Apple M3 single-chip systems – the base M3, as well as the M3 Pro and M3 Max. The top SoC configuration includes a 16-core CPU and a 40-core GPU.
The laptops received up to 128 GB of unified memory (maximum for previous generation models – 96 GB). Apple says the new MacBook Pros are 11 times faster than Intel-based laptops.
Also equipped are Liquid Retina XDR screens, six speakers, HDMI video output and a Thunderbolt 4 port. Maximum battery life reaches 22 hours.
The body is all aluminum and comes in a new Space Black color option. The price of the younger model starts at $1600, the older one – at $2500.
Redmi presented its first speaker designed specifically for use with computers and laptops. The new product is already available for pre-order at a price of $28 in China.
The Redmi computer speaker has a simple cylindrical design covered with mesh fabric and a bright RGB light strip that can respond to music.
The speaker includes two full-range speakers, as well as two passive radiators. According to officials, the Redmi computer speaker has balanced high, mid and low frequency performance and performed well in such tests.
The Redmi computer speaker has built-in hidden microphones that support communication during voice calls, online games, remote learning and other scenarios.
The equipment includes a USB-C connector for connecting to monitors, computers, tablets, smartphones and other devices. The speaker also supports Bluetooth 5.0 low latency and is equipped with a 3.5mm audio output interface.
Laptops
Samsung’s first AI laptop will be released before the first AI smartphone. Galaxy Book 4 will premiere on December 15
On December 15, Intel will release Core Ultra processors for mobile computers, and on the same day Samsung will introduce a new line of its laptops – Galaxy Book 4. The devices will be presented as AI laptops.
It is known that Samsung has registered the name “AI smartphone”; according to rumors, the Galaxy S24 will be presented as such. But the Galaxy S24 will debut, according to preliminary data, on January 17, 2024, which means that the first AI laptop from Samsung will be released a month earlier than the AI smartphone.
Core Ultra will have a neural processor to accelerate AI tasks, and it will be on its basis that Samsung’s proprietary Gauss language model will work (all calculations will be performed by the device itself, no “clouds”).
It is reported that LG Electronics and HP are also preparing to release AI laptops based on Core Ultra, but it is not a fact that they will also be presented on December 15.
The Galaxy Book line will include five models: Galaxy Book 4, Galaxy Book 4 360, Galaxy Book 4 360 Pro, Galaxy Book 4 Pro and Galaxy Book 4 Ultra. The specifications will apparently be the same as the Galaxy Book 3. The only difference is that instead of the 13th generation Intel Core there will be first generation Intel Core Ultra processors. The Galaxy Book 4 Ultra will have an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 dGPU.

The official premiere of Intel Core Ultra processors from the Meteor Lake family will take place soon – on December 15, so advertisements are starting to appear in online stores describing new laptop models based on the new CPUs. Thus, one of the retailers revealed the characteristics of the future gaming Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 2024.
While the 2023 model number is GU604, the 2024 model number is GU605. The top configuration will have a 16-core Ultra 9 185H (6 large cores, 8 small cores and 2 more ultra-low power cores), complemented by a GeForce RTX 4090 Mobile dGPU. The laptop will have two slots for RAM: the basic version has only 16 GB, but there is also an option with 32 GB of RAM. The configuration also includes a 1 TB SSD. But, unfortunately, there are no prices yet.
The official premiere of Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 2024 will most likely take place on the same day that the processors will be presented.
