Ford has announced a program to upgrade conventional F-150 pickups almost to the level of Raptor R, announced the FP700 Bronze Edition and Black Edition packages.

These two packages from Ford Performance are available for F-150s built from 2021 to 2023 in XL, XLT, Lariat and Platinum trims. The only major limitation associated with the package is that the base engine must be a 5.0-liter V8. The package adds a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger, increasing power to 700 hp. and 800 Nm of torque. For reference, the most powerful Raptor R produces 700 hp. and 867 Nm with a V8 engine from the Shelby GT500.

The package is also compatible with both rear and all-wheel drive. This upgrade is legal in all US states and is backed by a three-year warranty from Ford Performance. Both packages also include rear lowering springs, fender vents, FPP floor mats, black painted grilles and side graphics.

These include the aforementioned side body graphics, tailgate lettering, and a unique set of 22-inch Sinister Bronze wheels. The F-150 FP700 Black Edition package features 22-inch black wheels with black nuts, black front fascia pieces, and dark tailgate and side graphics. Both FP700 packages are compatible with a range of other Ford Performance parts, including a side-exit sports exhaust system and various body accessories.

Neither in Blender nor in V Ray can the new Core

The results of testing the Core i9-14900K processor in tasks that can actually load modern multi-core processors have appeared on the Internet.

Neither in Blender nor in V-Ray can the new Core i9-14900K outperform the “old” Ryzen 9 7950X

In Blender, the new product scores almost 560 points, which is 6% more than the Core i9-13900KS. This is good considering that these are technically identical CPUs. The new product is already 8% ahead of its direct predecessor, the Core i9-13900K. However, the Ryzen 9 7950X is still a little faster.

In V-Ray, the new Intel flagship showed a result of 27,790 points, ahead of the Core i9-13900KS by 5% and its predecessor by 8%. But here again the AMD flagship is ahead.

Of course, it was clear in advance that Raptor Lake Refresh would only be a very minor update (except for the Core i7, which will get more cores), but now we can verify this not only through the results from Geekbench.

Is an entire era of Samsung coming to an end

The Samsung Galaxy S24, as we have already seen today, will be practically no different in appearance from the Galaxy S23. Now it has become clear that the same applies to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The same insider Steve Hemmerstoffer, known under the pseudonym Onleaks, also shared renderings of the older model of Samsung’s new flagship line. And here, too, it is very difficult to detect any differences.

In fact, they will be, but they will either not affect the appearance at all, or very slightly. For example, a titanium frame does not change the appearance of the smartphone. But you can see that the side edges will become even less curved than in the current generation, although they will not be completely flat.

In addition, judging by the images, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a flat screen. The glass itself is curved very slightly, but the screen looks like it will be completely flat. If so, then the Galaxy S24 Ultra will end the era of Samsung flagships and curved screens, which began with the Galaxy S6 Edge in 2015.
