The resource Android Central called “five things that the iPhone 14 stole from Android.” We are talking about functions that have already been implemented in one form or another in smartphones from the opposing camp.

The main visual innovation of the iPhone 14 Pro was a new notch called Dynamic Island. It has already been said that back in late 2018, the Honor V20 received a feature similar to Dynamic Island. The source adds that in December 2018, Samsung released a punch-hole phone, the Galaxy A8s, which had a similar interactive animation around the front camera. Huawei Mate 40Pro, Honor V20, LG V10 and other phones are also remembered.

Previously, LG introduced a “Second Screen” through which users could set shortcuts to contacts, view incoming notifications, and control the music they play. And all this without using the main display.

The round and oval screen hole design itself has been used in the Android world for several years now. The rejection of bangs was only a matter of time, and Apple followed the already proven path.

Everything is also clear with the always-on display, which is implemented on many Android phones. In the iPhone 14 Pro, this feature is implemented by reducing the screen brightness and refresh rate, while in Android phones this is achieved by highlighting individual pixels.

As for car crash detection and dynamic refresh rate (from 1 to 120Hz), they were also previously implemented in OnePlus 9 Pro series mobile phones, Find X3 Pro and Google Pixel 6.

Today we published battery specifications for all iPhone 14 series smartphones.

The smartphone was dismantled on the PBKreviews channel, while it received very good reviews for maintainability. After all, battery replacement is one of the most popular types of repair.

Samsung used standard Phillips screws. In addition, the 3.5mm headphone jack is on a separate module that is held in place by a screw. It takes some disassembly to get to it, but it’s not soldered to the board. The USB-C charging port is on a separate circuit board, and there are spring contacts underneath it and below the speaker assembly.

At 9.9mm thin and 235g, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover6 Pro is thicker and heavier than most phones with 6.6-inch displays and 4050 mAh batteries for the sake of security and repair-friendly design.
