Fitness bracelet Mi Band 5 received a 24-hour sleep monitoring function
Mi Band 5 is the latest fitness tracker from Xiaomi. It is the successor to the hugely popular Mi Band 4 from last year.
Currently, the Mi Band 5 firmware is being updated worldwide with new features. The Mi Band series of fitness trackers has been Xiaomi’s best selling line of wearable devices from the outset. The company has long supported these trackers, adding new features through firmware updates. At the moment, Xiaomi has released a new firmware update, v1.0.2.46, for the Mi Band 5.
So far, the changes will affect only China. It is not yet known when the global update will be, but it will be. With regard to innovations. The new firmware adds support for 24-hour sleep monitoring. Thus, Mi Band 5 officially became the first in the series to have this feature. Support for new languages and maps of Chinese cities, I think, will not interest anyone. It is possible that Xiaomi, in the future, can “teach” Mi Band 5 new “tricks”.
