The novelty is available in versions with both the Qualcomm platform and MediaTek SoC. In the first case, this is the Snapdragon 870, and in the second, the Kompanio 1300T. At the same time, modifications differ not only in platforms, although this is the most cardinal difference.

The Snapdragon 870-based version has more RAM (8GB vs 6GB), which is also faster (LPDDR5 vs LPDDR4X) and supports more powerful charging (68W vs 30W). She also has a fingerprint scanner and Bluetooth 5.2 instead of version 5.1.

The rest of the modifications are identical. The tablet has an 11.2-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1536 pixels and support for 120 Hz. There is 128 GB of flash memory, cameras with a resolution of 13 and 8 megapixels, a battery with a capacity of 8200 mAh. The dimensions of the tablet are 263.7 x 167.7 x 6.8 mm with a weight of 480 g.

Modification on SoC MediaTek is estimated at $ 325, and for the version on Snapdragon 870 they ask for $ 370.

Xiaomi announced the sale of new versions of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro tablets, which are equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory.

In China, this version of Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is offered for $2909, while Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro is priced at $360. The difference between them is mainly in three points: single-chip performance, speakers, and fast charging.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is equipped with a single-chip Snapdragon 860 system, four speakers and supports 33W fast charging. Mi Pad 5 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 870 SoC, eight speakers and supports 67W fast charging.

Both devices received an 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels with support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a density of 275 pixels per inch and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The screen comes with HDR 10 and Dolby Vision support, hardware low blue light support, and passed German TUV hardware-level certification to minimize visual impact during prolonged use.
