Finally, Trump nearly destroyed the automotive industry around the world

Automakers around the world are now facing big challenges. Many car manufacturers are closing assembly lines due to a global semiconductor shortage caused by the Donald Trump administration and sanctions against several Chinese chip makers.

The deficit is forecast to remain unchanged in the next few months. Giants such as Ford Motor Co, Subaru Corp and Toyota Motor Corp. have cut production in the United States. In Europe and Asia, companies such as Volkswagen, Nissan Motor Co Ltd and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles are experiencing similar problems.

Automakers compete with the electronics industry for chip makers’ processors. With the shift to telecommuting and learning, there is a surge in sales of laptops, game consoles and other electronic products. The main problem, however, is that the United States interferes with the conduct of business between American and Chinese companies.

The major automaker reportedly moved chip production from China’s SMIC, which was banned by the US in December, to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co in Taiwan. The latter, in turn, could not meet the demand due to the excessive number of orders. TSMC’s chief executive on Thursday said the company is taking steps to mitigate the impact of the deficit on its customers.

It is also known that the Ford plant in Kentucky was idle due to a lack of chips for the braking system of cars. Sources claim that such stories regularly happen not only in the United States, but also in many other countries of the world.

New photos perfectly demonstrate the details of the exterior and interior of this very unusual car. For example, huge mirrors the size of a small TV attract attention. Or here is a very striking element – a ladder above the rear wheel arch, which allows you to climb onto the roof of this huge car, where you can also place cargo (although it is hard to imagine that such a large car could not fit everything and everyone in the cabin). It is expected that the dimensions of the SUV will be 5500 x 2160 x 2155 mm.

The car is so big that the creators placed the marker lights on the sidewalls (at the bottom of the doors and at the corners of the rear bumper). And the box on the front bumper is a winch. In general, the Dongfeng Warrior M20 can serve as an excellent base for a survival car. At least until the Tesla Cybertruck came out.

The Dongfeng Warrior M20 has 7 seats, a large screen on the front panel and a block of buttons below it. The handle of the 6-speed automatic transmission is placed almost on the front panel, as in many minibuses or minivans. Next to it is a circular selector, probably the transmission modes. SUV, of course, all-wheel drive, with differential locks.
