Square Enix recently released Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker benchmark for PC. By downloading the 2.2 GB benchmark, installing and running it, you can check if your computer’s performance is up to par with the upcoming add-on for Final Fantasy XIV. According to the developer, the test uses real scenes from the game, which will be released on November 23 for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
The minimum requirements for the add-on include a 64-version of Windows 8.1 or Windows 10, a processor at least Intel Core i5 running at 2.4 GHz, at least 4 GB of RAM, a video card at least Nvidia GeForce GTX750 or AMD Radeon R7 260X, and See also DirectX 11, a sound card that supports DirectSound. 80 GB of free disk space and broadband internet connection.
For the game to run normally, the developers recommend a processor not worse than an Intel Core i7 running at 3 GHz, 8 GB of RAM, a video card not worse than an Nvidia GeForce GTX970 or AMD Radeon RX 480.
The test gives a score that shows whether it will be comfortable to play on the tested computer. Systems with up to 1000 points are not suitable for the game; those who have scored up to 4000 points need modernization; performance of 4000-6000 points is considered “standard”, 6000-8000 points – “quite high”. Higher performance systems will allow you to play even with maximum settings.
