EVGA Z590 Dark and FTW motherboards revealed
EVGA has unveiled next-generation motherboards based on the Inyel Z590 chipset and supporting 11th Gen Intel Core processors. In their description, the manufacturer first mentions support for the PCIe Gen4 bus, which is twice the bandwidth of its predecessor.
The EVGA Z590 Dark has a 22-phase power supply. The equipment of the board, addressed in particular to overclocking enthusiasts, mentions “more than a dozen USB options, eight SATA ports, two 2.5 GbE network adapters, WiFi 6 and BT 5.1 interfaces, an eight-channel audio subsystem, three M.2 Key-M slots , and two connectors for LSS fans ”. The board is decorated with ARGB lighting.
EVGA Z590 FTW WIFI “Redefines What It Means To Be For The Win.” The manufacturer sees it as “a completely revamped aesthetic, a renewed commitment to making the most of the ATX form factor, and an unrelenting desire to give enthusiasts all the power, performance and stability.” The power subsystem is built according to a 17-phase scheme. The board supports memory operating at an effective frequency of over 4800 MHz. Its equipment includes WiFi 6, BT 5.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0, and the presence of multiple ARGB connectors, a 1 GbE port and eight-channel audio.

In the picture you can see the AD107 and AD106 GPUs. So far, there are no processor data carriers in the desktop segment, but they have already been announced in the mobile segment: these are the RTX 4050/4060 and RTX 4070.
The new GPUs are very compact. The smaller one has an area of about 150-160 mm2, and the larger one has an area of 180-190 mm2. In comparison, the AD104, which the desktop RTX 4070 Ti is based on and the mobile RTX 4090 is supposed to be based on, measures almost 300mm2.
The AD107 has 3072 CUDA cores while the AD106 offers 4608 CUDA cores. In both cases, video cards will have a 128-bit memory bus.
Laptops based on graphics cards with these GPUs should hit the market soon.

Apple has reported for the first quarter of its fiscal year 2023, which ended on December 31, 2022.
And it is immediately worth noting that the revenue for the quarter amounted to 96.39 billion dollars, which is 5% less than a year earlier. And this is Apple’s first year-on-year drop in quarterly revenue since 2019 and the biggest drop since 2016.
Operating income fell from $41.5 billion to $36 billion, while net income was $30 billion from $34.6 billion a year earlier. That is, these figures also fell, and more than 5%.
Regionally speaking, Apple’s sales have fallen in all major markets. As for products, almost all areas showed a decline, except for services and tablets.
iPhone sales fell from $71.6 billion to $65.8 billion, Mac sales fell from $10.9 billion to $7.7 billion, and wearable and home electronics sales dropped from $14.7 billion to $13.5 billion. But the tablets showed growth, and impressive: from 7.2 to 9.4 billion dollars. Services brought to the company 20.8 billion dollars against 19.5 billion the previous year.
The Apple CEO said that three factors influenced the results of the quarter: a strong dollar, problems with manufacturing in China and the macroeconomic environment in general.
